There is no typical Trinity Yoga class. All of our classes will challenge you, teach you something new, or allow you to go deeper with what is familiar. We encourage you to try different classes and teachers to find what is right for you.

We offer drop-in classes, instructional series and private yoga. Please see below for class descriptions.

Instructional Series

Drop-ins are welcome into the progressive series based on space availability.

Beginner Level I

A ten week introduction to yoga with detailed instruction of the foundational postures, and breathing techniques. Each class builds on the previous. This series begins Monday, March 22nd & Tuesday, March 23rd.

Beginner Level II

A ten week series focusing on supporting your developing yoga practice. Classes will include a deepening of foundational postures, adding variations and exploring pranayama. This progressive 10 week series begins Wednesday, March 24th.

Yoga of Transcendence

Bhagavad Gita -- In this ten week series we will explore the external truths from the "Gita". This sacred yoga text of transformation, as Krishna speaks with Arjuna regarding the "battlefield of life". Each week will include a guided meditation practice to settle us into a relaxed state of awareness. This ten week series begins Thursday, April 1st.

Drop-in Classes

Gentle Flow

You will move at a slower pace as we learn and explore basic alignment in the essential foundational postures, including sun salutations. You will improve posture, body tone and flexibility while building a strong foundation for your yoga practice. This class is also suitable for more experienced people who want to slow down, tune in and relax.

Intermediate

An invigorating flow of yoga postures at a moderate pace combined with slower, cooling postures. You will focus on learning and exploring precise alignment in each posture while maximizing stamina, strength, flexibility, body awareness and mental focus. We will focus on standing and balancing postures, backbends, forward bends, twists and core strengthening. Options will be given to suit your level of experience.

Power Flow

A challenging practice designed to explore your limits of flexibility and strength. Integrating elements of Vinyasa, core strength, breath and movement, this class will leave you feeling invigorated and grounded. (See schedule for the heated Power Flow classes.) Recommended for students with at least 6 months of practice.

Prana Flow

This is an eclectic class built around Classical Yoga. Offered by our Senior Teachers, you're invited to explore the deeper practices. Not recommended for beginning practitioners.

Prenatal

Offering safe modifications of standard yoga postures that will strengthen the muscles that support a growing belly and changing body, relieve tension caused by soft and hard tissue changes. Designed to support the profound changes your body and mind experience during pregnancy and labour.

Postnatal with baby

An all levels yoga experience designed to connect you with your body and your baby. This drop-in class is great for new moms to restore muscle tone and rebuild core strength. Recommended 4 weeks to crawling.

Candlelight Yin Yoga and Meditation

A quiet practice that uses floor postures held for extended periods to promote healthy joints and improve flexibility in the hips, legs, spine and shoulders. This class is very restorative for the muscles and cultivates a peaceful and meditative mind.

Yoga Core

A fusion class designed with the core strengthening benefits of Pilates and the body awareness of yoga using the physio ball. Limited number of balls available for class use, please bring your own ball if you have one.

Meditation

Join us for a simple practice of awareness, to develop focus, and ease the challenges of an overactive mind. This free class includes a brief introduction, and then a 30-minute meditation practice. Drop-ins are welcome!

Adaptive Chair Yoga

Chair yoga offers you the ability to improve your health; increasing strength, flexibility and concentration. You are supported by a chair so you can receive yoga's healing and restorative benefits that have been known for thousands of years. A great class for seniors and others requiring a modified practice. Special pricing of $10 drop-in or $80 for 10 classes.

Private Yoga Instruction

This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with an experienced yoga instructor to receive instructions designed for your specific needs. Refine your structural alignment, design your own sequence, learn posture modifications, restorative yoga postures or how to meditate. No previous yoga experience is required.

Private Groups / Corporate Retreats

Allow us to facilitate your group with a range of body/mind experiences. Which may include; stress management techniques, yoga, conscious communication techniques, holistic lifestyle training, holistic cooking, a variety of bodywork, and more.
