There is no typical Trinity Yoga class. All of our classes will challenge you, teach you something new, or allow you to go deeper with what is familiar. We encourage you to try different classes and teachers to find what is right for you.

We offer drop-in classes, instructional series and private yoga. Please see below for class descriptions.

Instructional Series

Levels I and II Instructional Series will begin the week of March 17th. Preregistration is recommended. Drop-in's are welcome space permitting.

Beginner Level I

A ten week introduction to yoga with detailed instruction of the foundational postures, and breathing techniques. Each class builds on the previous. Series begins March 17th. Pre-registration is recommended, however, drop-ins are welcome.

Beginner Level II

A ten week series focusing on supporting your developing yoga practice. Classes will include a deepening of foundational postures, adding variations and explore advanced breathing and meditation.

Kids Yoga

Kids yoga introduces yoga in a child friendly active way, thru movement, games and activities. They will experience a sense of wonder for the world as the benefits of yoga flow into their lives. We will use Animals, Nature, Affirmations and much more to build self esteem and self awareness. Our goal is to encourage children to be active participants in developing their own healthy, strong, peaceful lives. This eight week progressive series begins April 1st. Pre-registration is required.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a form of meditative self-inquiry from the teachings of yoga, which induces deep relaxation throughout the body and mind. This practice helps eliminate stress, insomnia, resolving trauma, overcoming anxiety, fear, anger, and depression. Ultimately creating a deeper understanding of who we are. Ten week series begins March 20th, please call to register.

Drop-in Classes

Beginner

You will move at a slower pace as we learn and explore basic alignment in the essential foundation postures, including sun salutations. You will improve posture, body tone and flexibility while building a strong foundation for your yoga practice. This class is also suitable for more experienced people who want to slow down, tune in and relax.

Community

This is an opportunity to give and receive with an all-levels yoga experience.
By donation. Proceeds to charity. *Second Sunday of every month.

Intermediate

An invigorating flow of yoga postures at a moderate pace combined with slower, cooling postures. You will focus on learning and exploring precise alignment in each posture while maximizing stamina, strength, flexibility, body awareness and mental focus. We will focus on standing and balancing postures, backbends, forward bends, twists and core strengthening. Options will be given to suit your level of experience.

Power Vinyasa Flow & Prana Flow

A challenging practice designed to explore your limit of flexibility and strength. Integrating breath and movement, this class will leave you feeling invigorated and grounded. We will limber up the body and then transition into a series of standing and floor postures and exercises that target the abdominals, back and pelvis to create a toned, balanced and strong center. (The room is heated Sept – May.)

Prenatal

Offering safe modifications of standard yoga postures that will strengthen the muscles that support a growing belly and changing body, relieve tension caused by soft and hard tissue changes. Designed to support the profound changes your body and mind experience during pregnancy and labour.

Postnatal

An all levels yoga experience designed to connect you with your body and your child. This drop-in class is great for new moms to rebuild core strength. Recommended 4 weeks to crawling.

Sunrise Yoga

This moderate practice will incorporate a blend of warm-ups, sun saluations, standing and floor postures designed to awaken the body and mind. All levels welcome, variations will be given to suit your level of experience.

Yoga and Pilates on the Ball

A fusion class designed with the core strengthening benefits of Pilates and the body awareness of yoga using the physio ball. Limited number of balls available for class use, please bring your own ball if you have one.

Yoga Trance Dance

Cultivating fluidity, creativity and inner power, we will begin by drawing energy into the body through yoga, moving the prana through the major energy centres (chakras) and evolve into a breath-driven, rhythmic-induced meditation. Worldbeat/global fusion music will be featured with the finest multi-cultural rhythms, exotic vocals and hypnotic grooves from around the world.

No previous dance experience necessary! This is not your 'typical' dance class, there are no steps or moves to learn in order to participate. This is about moving energy through our bodies in an organic and fluid expression of our true selves.

Private Yoga Instruction

This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with an experienced yoga instructor to receive instructions designed for your specific needs. Refine your structural alignment, design your own sequence, learn posture modifications, restorative yoga postures or how to meditate. No previous yoga experience is required.

Private Groups / Corporate Retreats

Allow us to facilitate your group with a range of body/mind experiences. Which may include; stress management techniques, yoga, conscious communication techniques, holistic lifestyle training, holistic cooking, a variety of bodywork, and more.
